Circuit theorems, techniques, and network analysis form the foundation of electrical and electronic engineering by providing systematic methods for analyzing complex circuits. These concepts include fundamental theorems such as Ohm’s Law, Kirchhoff’s Voltage and Current Laws, Thevenin’s and Norton’s theorems, Superposition, and Maximum Power Transfer, which simplify circuit evaluation by reducing complicated networks into simpler equivalent forms. Network analysis techniques—such as mesh analysis, nodal analysis, and source transformation—enable engineers to determine current, voltage, and power distribution within electrical systems efficiently. Together, these tools are essential for understanding, designing, and optimizing circuits used in power systems, communication devices, and electronic equipment.
