Efficiency, Transparency, and Accountability Through IT in Public Administration explores how information technology enhances the performance and governance of public sector organizations. By automating administrative processes, managing data electronically, and enabling digital service delivery, IT improves operational efficiency, reduces costs, and speeds up decision-making. Technology also promotes transparency by providing citizens with easier access to government information, policies, and services, while accountability is strengthened through accurate record-keeping, performance monitoring, and tracking of public resources and activities. As a result, the use of IT in public administration fosters better governance, increases public trust, and improves the quality and responsiveness of government services.
