Linking industrial transformation in history refers to understanding how different phases of industrial development are interconnected and build upon one another over time. Each industrial revolution did not occur in isolation; instead, innovations, ideas, and systems from earlier periods laid the groundwork for subsequent advancements. For example, mechanization in the First Industrial Revolution enabled the mass production techniques of the Second, which in turn created the conditions for digital automation in the Third and the intelligent, interconnected systems of the Fourth. These transformations are also linked through their social, economic, and technological impacts, such as urbanization, globalization, and changes in labor. By examining these connections, we can better understand how continuous innovation drives long-term development and shapes the modern world.
