Women’s Roles in Political, Economic, and Private Life explores the diverse and evolving contributions of women across key spheres of society, including governance, economic activities, and family or domestic settings. It examines how women participate in political decision-making, leadership, and advocacy; contribute to economic development through labor, entrepreneurship, and resource management; and shape social and cultural life within households and communities. The topic also highlights historical and contemporary challenges such as gender inequality, limited access to opportunities, and the ongoing efforts to promote women’s empowerment and gender equity. Course objectives include enabling learners to understand the multifaceted roles of women in society, analyze their contributions in political, economic, and private life, recognize the challenges they face, and develop critical perspectives on strategies for promoting gender equality and inclusive development.
