Steganographic Algorithms and Security focus on the techniques used to embed hidden information within digital media and the measures that ensure its resilience against detection or tampering. A steganographic algorithm defines the rules for concealing data, often manipulating elements like pixel values in images, audio samples, or frequency domains to embed secret content without noticeably altering the host medium. Security in this context goes beyond simple concealment—it involves ensuring that hidden data remains undetectable to unauthorized parties, resistant to statistical analysis, and robust against compression or modification. Advanced methods, such as transform domain algorithms and adaptive embedding, enhance stealth and durability, while cryptographic integration adds another layer of protection by encrypting the concealed message itself. Together, these algorithms and security principles make steganography a powerful tool for covert communication and digital rights management in modern cybersecurity.
