Syntax, semantics, and language features are foundational concepts used to understand how programming and natural languages work. Syntax refers to the set of rules that define the correct structure or arrangement of words, symbols, or statements in a language, much like grammar in English. Semantics, on the other hand, deals with the meaning behind those syntactically correct expressions, ensuring that statements not only follow rules but also make logical sense. Language features are the built-in functionalities and constructs provided by a language—such as variables, loops, functions, and data types—that enable users to perform tasks effectively. Together, these elements ensure that a language is both structurally sound and meaningful, allowing users to communicate instructions clearly and efficiently.
