Comprehension is the ability to read, understand, and interpret the main ideas, facts, and meanings contained in a passage or text. Summary is the process of presenting the main points of a text briefly and clearly, using one’s own words without unnecessary details. Critical analysis involves examining and evaluating a text by considering the writer’s ideas, arguments, evidence, purpose, strengths, weaknesses, and overall effectiveness. Together, these skills improve reading, writing, reasoning, and the ability to communicate ideas effectively.
