Aviation fuels, lubricants, hydraulics, and pump pipeline systems are essential components of aircraft operation. Aviation fuels provide the energy needed to power aircraft engines. Lubricants reduce friction, wear, and heat in moving engine and mechanical parts. Hydraulic systems use pressurized hydraulic fluid to operate important aircraft components such as landing gear, brakes, flight controls, and flaps. Pump and pipeline systems transport fuels and hydraulic fluids through the aircraft safely and efficiently, using pumps, valves, pipes, and filters to control flow and pressure.
