Navy School Alumni Commission N25 Million Renovated Hostel in Lagos

The alumni of the Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Ojo, Lagos, have commissioned a newly renovated hostel valued at ₦25 million, in a move aimed at improving students' welfare and giving the school's infrastructure a much-needed facelift.

The project was spearheaded by the school's Class of 1989, working alongside other former students under the NNSS Ojo Renovation Team.

The renovated hostel was officially commissioned by the Flag Officer Commanding, Western Naval Command, Rear Admiral Abubakar Mustapha, during a ceremony that formed part of the school's 2025/2026 Passing Out Parade and graduation activities.

For the alumni involved, the project represents more than just the renovation of a building. It is a way of giving back to an institution that played an important role in their upbringing, education and eventual careers.

A Gift Back to Their Alma Mater

Speaking during the commissioning, Rear Admiral Mustapha commended the alumni for coming together to invest in the school.
