Independent Research and Project Work in Literature involves the systematic exploration and analysis of literary texts, themes, authors, genres, or critical theories through self-directed inquiry. This process enables students and researchers to develop critical thinking, analytical, and scholarly writing skills by identifying research problems, reviewing relevant literature, collecting and interpreting textual evidence, and presenting well-supported arguments. Through independent research and project work, individuals gain deeper insights into literary works and their cultural, historical, and social contexts while contributing original perspectives to literary scholarship. It also fosters intellectual independence, creativity, and the ability to apply research methodologies effectively in the study of literature.
