Communication Strategies in Development Planning and Policy refers to the systematic use of communication methods and channels to support the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of development plans and public policies. These strategies are designed to inform, educate, consult, and engage stakeholders—including government agencies, communities, development partners, and the public—in the development process. Effective communication ensures that policy objectives, programs, and initiatives are clearly understood, encourages public participation, facilitates feedback, and promotes transparency and accountability. By fostering dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders, communication strategies enhance policy acceptance, improve decision-making, and contribute to the successful achievement of sustainable development goals.
