Traditional and Modern Media in Development explores the role of various communication channels in promoting social, economic, and cultural development within society. Traditional media, such as folk songs, storytelling, drama, community meetings, and local festivals, have long been used to share information, preserve cultural values, and mobilize communities for development activities. Modern media, including radio, television, newspapers, the internet, and social media platforms, enable the rapid dissemination of information to larger audiences and facilitate greater public engagement. Together, traditional and modern media serve as powerful tools for education, awareness creation, behavior change, advocacy, and community participation, thereby supporting sustainable development and improving the quality of life in diverse communities.
