Descriptive Statistics is the branch of statistics that focuses on summarizing and presenting data in a clear and meaningful way, without drawing conclusions beyond the dataset itself. It uses measures such as mean, median, and mode to describe the central tendency of data, along with range, variance, and standard deviation to show how spread out the values are. Additionally, tools like frequency distributions, tables, and graphs help visualize data patterns for easier interpretation. By condensing large datasets into simple summaries and visuals, descriptive statistics provides a foundation for understanding information before moving into deeper analysis
