Landforms, markets, and population surveys are interconnected aspects that reveal how geography influences human activity and development. Landforms such as mountains, plains, and rivers shape where people settle, how they access resources, and the types of economic activities they pursue. Markets emerge in these settlements as centers of trade, reflecting the availability of goods and services influenced by the surrounding environment. Population surveys, on the other hand, provide critical data about the size, distribution, and characteristics of communities, helping us understand how people interact with both natural landscapes and economic systems. Together, these elements highlight the dynamic relationship between physical geography, human settlement, and socio-economic growth.
