Foundation of Sociological Entrepreneurship Theory refers to the perspective that entrepreneurship is not driven solely by individual traits, profit motives, or economic factors, but is also shaped by social relationships, cultural values, societal norms, institutions, and networks within a community. The theory emphasizes that entrepreneurs operate within a social environment that influences their opportunities, resources, decision-making, and business success. Sociological entrepreneurship theorists argue that factors such as family background, education, social class, religion, ethnicity, and professional networks play a significant role in fostering entrepreneurial behavior and innovation. Therefore, entrepreneurship is viewed as a social process in which individuals leverage social connections and cultural resources to identify opportunities, create ventures, and contribute to economic and social development.
