Software-Based Communication and Public Engagement in Geophysics involves the use of digital software tools and platforms to effectively communicate geophysical information to both scientific and non-scientific audiences. Through data visualization software, presentation tools, geographic information systems (GIS), interactive maps, animations, and social media platforms, geophysicists can simplify complex data and research findings for easier understanding by stakeholders, policymakers, educators, and the general public. This approach enhances public awareness of geophysical phenomena, supports informed decision-making, promotes scientific literacy, and encourages greater community involvement in issues related to natural resources, environmental management, and geohazard mitigation.
